Vaerly’s battle sprite. Kinda. I need to make her shoes and jewelry. Battle sprite? What? I didn’t say anything.

I don’t know what the hell’s up with the background (or rather, the lack of). Maybe I’ll add something spiffy to the top when I can figure out what’s spiffy and what’s not these days.
So yeah, this is Sanza from Rynspyr. She’s actually a pretty minor character, but she seems to be getting more attention than some of the main characters. Oh well.

//@.@ Overdue Much?
February 15th, 2010Finally redesigned my site. According to my comments and stuff, the last design has been up since January 14th, 2009. That’s a long time to use a very poorly designed template. Sigh. Well, let’s see how long it’ll take to move past this one, lol.

February 15th, 2010//Rynspyr Chibis
February 15th, 2010This is a pretty picture heavy post, so watch out, lol. 16.5 Rynspyr chibis + stairs. Total time: A shit load. I think it was like 6 or 7 hours to draw them all. For those of you who may remember, Rynspyr is that VN I’m trying to make. Here are all the main characters + a few minor ones. Not going to bother naming them here, watch the video for that.
So I printed all them chibis out, cut them out, and pasted them on a large cardboard tube used to carry large pictures around as a present to my boyfriend. He’s going to use the tube to carry D&D maps, lol. I don’t remember how long it took me to construct this, but the was significantly less than the drawing time.

//Portrait Painting Process
January 25th, 2010I really should be sleeping, but instead, here I am, bringing you this video.
Portrait Painting in Photoshop from Yee W on Vimeo.
Copy paste from vimeo:
Tried something new, used Adobe Premiere to edit the videos. I kinda don’t like it too much. It’s too much fuss for speeding up a video and adding subs to it. The render time was 6 hours for this 10 minute video + it made my video tiny. On the plus side, there’s no more quality degradation when I add subs, lol.
3 hours in photoshop condensed into 10 minutes? Songs are in the video. Enjoy.
Probably going to look into a better solution for video editing. And I honestly like the sketch better than the painting…. that’s not good.
